This Tardis like trailer is a hidden gem in the world of conversions. The bespoke fit out was designed and installed by a professional joiner and motorhome fitter, encompassing modern luxuries such as 3” Kingspan insulation and multiple 240/12v power outlets and USB points, into a rustic and bohemian aesthetic.
The electric supply is integrated into smart panel (fitted this year) which gives you full control of the input and output settings, the solar panel features and the battery health. 2 100Ah leisure batteries are fitted below the seating/bed area with easy access for maintenance. The leisure batteries are charged by the solar panel, and operates the internal and external lighting, the USB charge points and the 12v power outlets. Externally there is a CEE outlet to plug in the mains hookup, when connected to the hookup 240v socket outlets are available to use, great to run heaters, kettles, microwaves etc.
The trailer is panelled with plywood treated with wood oil to preserve the natural colour, to suit personal taste this could potentially be painted or stained a different colour. The wall adjacent to the bench is cladded with reclaimed wood panels and a reclaimed wood shelf. The fitted bench is suitable for food preparation and there is storage for a small portable cooker (cooker included). The floor is fully insulated and carpeted.
Seamless built in storage is a key feature, including stacked cubbies for clothing and shoes, sizeable under seat storage for awning and equipment, drawers and cubbies for kitchen and utility items, plus over cab storage for bedding.
For additional space and storage a Bradcot awning is including (circa £250). The awning fits perfectly and there is an awning rail fitted to the side. The awning is spacious and can adequately house a camp kitchen. Included with the awning is a ground sheet. Plus a Sunncamp back awning is included, including awning rail and associated ground sheets.
The flexible layout allows for a quick transformation from galley seating to u-shaped seating area to a dreamy double bed. The bed/seating unit is comprised of a solid pine structure, designed to maximise space. Sturdy lats support the cushions, and are easily concertinaed to both access the under seat storage and to augment the seating arrangement. The cushions are newly upholstered (this year) to match the bohemian interior.
The bi-fold back doors allow you to take in the breathtaking surroundings, and provides easy access to under seat storage. The secure side entrance door is dual opening – fully closed/open or bottom half closed and top half open. There is a rooflight/window with fitted fly screen, plus a magnetic blackout panel/blind.
A new, robust jockey wheel has been installed (this year). The tow hitch, handbrake and supporting framework is in good condition and regularly maintained. The feet/stands are sturdy, are in good condition and well maintained. The external body is in good condition, with minor aesthetic repairs to be made to paintwork.
There is no gas/LPG or water fitted within the trailer. The original use for this trailer required an external LPG access, this has since been sealed externally and panelled internally. Measurements: Width 2.1m, Height 2.4m, Length including hitch 4.5m, Length trailer only 3.9m.
